About Rick D. Davis, DDS
The son of an Air Force pilot attended high school in Tokyo, Japan, and later joined the University of Washington, where he studied dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Davis joined the Air Force, where he was serving as a general dentist. He worked in the United States Air Force from 1978 until 1999.
He finished the Air Force one-year AEGD residency, and two-year Advanced General Dentistry Residency during his dental practice. He also finalized a fellowship in biomaterials at the University of Indiana.
Dr. Davis has over 21 years of experience that he gained during his Air Force career. The highly knowledgeable doctor also served as a clinical instructor, research director, and lecturer for 12 years. He has various articles, research abstracts, and publications on several scientific topics. After retirement from the Air Force, he pursued a graduate program in endodontics at the University of Oregon in 2001.
After completing the endodontic post-doctoral program, he joined Dr. Rick Schwartz, a former Air Force colleague, in endodontic practice. Since then, he has been offering his knowledge at the Endodontic Consultants of San Antonio.
